Bulgur was recalled due to the mycotoxin content exceeding the limit value
Due to the mycotoxin (deoxynivalenol, DON) content exceeding the limit value, Bio Fair Trade Kft. has recalled the one-kilogram Nett Food Bulgur product from the market – announced the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih).
Nébih asks customers not to consume the product that matches the identification data below.
Quality retention period of the affected products: 07.01.2024, 08.01.2024, and 08.05.2024.
Bio Fair Trade Kft. informed its customers about the recall on its website.
The product can be returned to any Auchan store, and the full purchase price of the product will be refunded.
In humans, DON consumed in large quantities can cause nausea, vomiting, sometimes diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache, and dizziness. Especially in large quantities, it can lead to immune system and hematopoietic complaints, death, and death in the case of animals – read the information published on the Nébih website.
