Nearly half of the investments came to Budapest
46 percent of investments of the country, came to Budapest last year, in addition the concentration increased in the last two years. The per capita investment was 823 thousand HUF for Budapest residents and 195 thousand HUF for the rural population.
According to the datas of the Central Statistical Office; The investments made by enterprises, decreased by 11 percent nationwide, compared to the previous year, due to the crisis. The decline, however, occurred in varying degrees in the capital and in the countryside. In Budapest, the value of the investments decreased by 5, in the countryside by 15 percent – reports Világgazdaság Online.
