Budapest tourism center: 2018 was a record year in the capital
2018 was a record year in the guest turnover of Budapest, where the increase in the number of domestic guest and the number of guest nights was an important driving force – the Budapest Festival and Tourism Center (BFTK) told MTI.
Analyzing the recently published tourism data of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH), the BFTK emphasized that the number of guest nights spent at commercial accommodation establishments in Budapest exceeded the previous year by more than 5 percent. (MTI)
