The countyside is more efficient in the selection of beverage cartons

There are significant differences in the practice of selective collection among the population of the Hungarian cities – the Italos karton Környezetvédelmi Szolgáltató Egyesülés (Beverage Carton Environmental Services Association) wrote in its press release.

The milk and juice cartons are selected the fastest in Veszprém, Paks, Székesfehérvár, Kecskemét and Monor. The most beverage cartons are collected in Budapest, where about 750 tonnes of beverage cartons are collected annually. If each Hungarian would re-collect the beverage cartons as effectively as the residents of Veszprém, the amount of recycled beverage cartons could be doubled within a year.
