Budapest will host Chemspec Europe exhibition and conference
Budapest will host the Chemspec chemical exhibition and conference in Eastern Europe for the first time in the history of the event series. The event will take place between the 18th and 19th of June at Hungexpo. Registration to attend is free of charge, and will give an excellent opportunity to meet and network with more than 400 international companies from the chemical industry involved in manufacturing and supplying, along with other professionals.
This will be the 29th event in the Chemspec Europe series, focusing on custom, fine and speciality chemicals. For the first time in its history, the event will take place in Eastern-Europe. The British organizer Quartz Chemicals, decided to hold the event in Hungary, because of the excellent opportunities here to bring together the producers, traders and end-users of the sector from Hungary, the region and Western-Europe as well.
“We hope that we can attract not only professionals from Hungary, but we can lure new audiences from Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and from other countries of this region as well” – said Steve Diprose, Vice President of the organizer, Quartz Chemicals.
Last year's event held in Munich, attracted a record number of 450 exhibitors and 5600 industry professionals. “Based on our plans, we expect similar success with the Chemspec Europe 2014 here in Budapest. We calculate with more than 400 exhibitors and more than 5000 visitors” – said Mr. Diprose.
According to the organizers, the reason for the existence of such event here in Budapest is because the local chemical sector has experienced excellent growth trends over the years. Last year the Hungarian chemical sector has increased by 6.4 percent – which exceeded the overall industry average of the country. “For that reason with among many other, we believe that Hungary can serve as an excellent gateway to join Eastern and Western Europe and to create opportunities to both sides of the continent” – explained Mr. Diprose.
The event will take place at Hungexpo, between 18th and 19th of June, where beside the Chemspec professional programs, there will be more than 50 internationally recognized experts sharing their thoughts on the most important matters of the sector. The conferences, seminars and workshops will focus on agro-chemical, pharma-related, fine chemicals, and other regulatory issues and of course sustainability.
This year, experts from the English Royal Society of Chemistry will discuss the challenges small business face in minimizing waste and operating at a profit using sustainable chemistry, while focusing on innovation and other developments as well.
Beside the professional programs, the organizers will offer career counseling sessions as well. With a pre-registration, individuals can attend a one-on-one coaching session with a hugely experienced recruitment team. They are looking forward to providing professionals at any level in their careers help with advice regarding career issues in the chemical sector.
Visiting the exhibition is free of charge, however the organizers strongly recommend registering in advance for your free pass to avoid queues on the day – business personnel can register now online at the following link: http://www.worldregistrationsystems.com/quartz_chem_visreg-2.htm
