Domestic tourist traffic increased significantly in Budapest
In Budapest, the number of guest nights increased by an average of 2.54 percent in the January-August period.
The number of domestic overnight stays increased by almost 13 percent and will remain stable in the remaining months of the year – the Budapest Festival and Tourism Centre told MTI on Wednesday.
They state that the significant expansion of Budapest on the international tourism market will continue in 2016, the city is becoming more popular among returning visitors and explorers as well. (MTI)
