Less nights in Budapest, more outside
Net revenues of three, four and five star hotels were 1 per cent higher for the first five months of the year than a year earlier. While the number of nights by guests rose on average, it shows decline in Budapest. The gross room rate in the above period was HUF 17,000, while the net rate was 4,100. While the gross rate grew by 4 per cent, the net rate fell by 0,4 per cent. The number of nights spent by guests in commercial places of accommodation was 3,4 million in January-May 2007.
