The drogerie markt is opening its new regional central warehouse in the largest continuous modern industrial building in the Budapest area
Another major international company has chosen the industrial real estate development of the Futureal group. In November, the German chain can take over the 18,000-square-meter warehouse in the first award-winning industrial building of the HelloParks park in Páty.
HelloParks Páty’s first, PT1, 58,000 square meter hall, which is the largest continuous modern industrial building in the Budapest area, provides the retail chain with the opportunity for further expansion in accordance with the long-term agreement. In the area of 18,000 square meters, the drogerie markt will create a prominent regional location, which will function as a central distribution warehouse for Eastern European private label products. In the history of the company in Hungary, this is the first central warehouse unit tied up in a rental scheme, which in the future will supplement the activities of two existing, self-owned sites in order to develop the company’s supply chain. The deal was concluded with the expert advice of Triarco.
“After examining several locations for the relocation of our international own-brand warehouse, we decided on the location of HelloParks in Páty. It was important to us that the new warehouse be available to us in a flexible lease structure that supports our cross-country logistics strategy and can follow the intensive development dynamics of the dm countries in the sale of their own brands. The professional support of the developer, the location of the property – also in relation to retaining our current employees – and the sustainable operation of the building were essential aspects.”
– stressed András Görgey, managing director of dm Kft.
