Budapest Coffee Week: the capital’s specialty coffee culture in the spotlight for a week
Between September 22 and 28, coffee enthusiasts and the profession will take center stage in Budapest: Budapest Coffee Week will be held, showcasing the capital’s specialty coffee culture and gastronomic diversity.
The event will feature Budapest’s best coffee shops, roasters and baristas. Guests will not only be able to sample special roasts and signature drinks, but also take part in workshops, cupping sessions and latte art training. The gastronomic connections of coffee will also be emphasized: there will be, for example, a chocolate and coffee pairing tasting and a coffee cocktail workshop.
The organizers aim to provide participants with a closer look at the behind-the-scenes secrets of coffee making, the basics of sustainable consumption, and to meet domestic and international experts. The community nature of the event will be enhanced by happy hour promotions, daytime parties and limited edition drinks, which will enhance the experience of the week.
A central element of the event is the “Coffee Journey”, which guides visitors through the most exciting locations, allowing everyone to have a personalized experience on the capital’s coffee lovers’ tour.
Budapest Coffee Week offers a rich program not only for coffee lovers, but also for professionals working in the hospitality industry.
