16.2 million passengers used Budapest Airport last year
Last year, a record 16.2 million passengers used the Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport – the Budapest Airport Zrt. informed MTI.
According to the communication, passenger traffic increased by 8.8 percent in 2019, compared to the previous year; with a growth of 64 percent in the last 5 years. Budapest Airport is one of the fastest growing airports in Central and Eastern Europe.
In 2019, the number of passengers using the airport was more than one million every month, with the number exceeding one and a half million in peak months – July, August and September. (MTI)
