Budapest Airport’s passenger traffic increased significantly in May
There were 88,827 passengers at Liszt Ferenc International Airport in May, which is almost four times the passenger traffic of May 2020, April 2021 which fell sharply due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It was emphasized that at the same time as the travel restrictions are lifted, Budapest Airport is constantly expanding its flight offer, and holidaymakers can choose from 89 destinations. Among other things, they can reach 11 Greek cities and islands with direct flights, which is a record, as there was no such wide offer in Greece even before the pandemic. Turkey, Cyprus and Croatia are also among the destinations again, they wrote. (MTI)
