Developments at Liszt Ferenc Airport continue at Budapest Airport
In the last three years, Budapest Airport has spent more than 70 billion HUF on the development of the Liszt Ferenc International Airport, and investments will continue in the coming years with the reopening of Terminal 1 and the construction of the new Terminal 3, the company operating the airport told MTI.
In its announcement, Budapest Airport recalled that a new passenger pier with 14 delivery gates had been built in the last three years, waiting for passengers on 11,500 square meters with 2,500 seats. The new air cargo base, BUD Cargo City, has been completed, so in 2021 the airport handled the largest volume of cargo of all time, exceeding 183 thousand tons. (MTI)
