Budapest Airport’s passenger traffic decreased by 95 percent in February
The decline is significant, because in February 2020, the last month before the restrictions, more than 1 million passengers were measured.
The data for 2021 will continue to follow the restrictions introduced across Europe, they wrote. According to the announcement, traffic has also decreased significantly elsewhere. According to the IATA (International Air Transport Association), global travel demand fell by 72 percent in January, up from December.
