The Budapest Airport increased its cargo capacity by 100 thousand tons
The Liszt Ferenc International Airport has increased its annual cargo capacity from about 150,000 tonnes to about 250,000 tonnes after the BUD Cargo City was handed over – Kurucz László, deputy spokesman for the Budapest Airport told M1 news channel on Tuesday.
The deputy spokesman said that the new building is 21,000 square meters complemented by a 32,000-square-meter lobby that can accommodate up to two Boeing 747 giant planes at one time. He added that the investment cost 16 billion HUF. (MTI)
