Budafoki Sparkling Wine and Wine Festival: more and more visitors, open cellars, family-friendly programs, good service and parking
Every year, more and more people visit the Budafoki Sparkling Wine and Wine Festival, where participants can toast to quality wines and sparkling wines. The festival is not only a celebration of wines, but also a real cultural event, accompanied by rich music programs, events for children and a whirlwind of fairs. Every year, the organizers place great emphasis on safety and the presentation of quality products, so visitors are guaranteed a special experience.
The significance of the event was explained by dr. Beáta Olga Felkai, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, also highlighted the importance of winemakers’ professional knowledge and the role of such events in popularizing wine culture in her opening speech.
Social presence and creations
The district’s Social Service 22 was also present at the festival this year, which not only informed local residents about their services, but also presented handicrafts made by their needy clients. The works of the elderly with dementia, the disabled and others in need, such as lavender door decorations and papier-mâché baskets, all proclaimed that they could create value despite their difficulties.
Twin city celebration: inauguration of Bonn park
A special program of the wine festival was the inauguration of the Bonn park, which celebrates the sister city relationship with the German city of Bonn for more than three decades. The newly handed over park was realized as part of the District’s Participation Budget, where there is also a streetball court, a fitness park and a playground. The event was attended by the leaders of Bonn and other sister cities, praising the long-standing relations and common European values.
The Budafoki Sparkling Wine and Wine Festival offers memorable programs for both wine lovers and families this year, contributing to the rich cultural and community life of Budapest.
