Lidl recalls Bryndza
Lidl Hungary Ltd. has recalled Pilos bryndza made from sheep and cow’s milk – the notice published on the website of the National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority (NKFH) on Tuesday reads.
The distributor justified the measure with microbiological reasons, the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in the product cannot be ruled out. The manufacturer of the recalled product, available in 125 gram packages, is Agrofarma, spol. s.r.o., best before date 02.01.2026, batch number L171225.
According to the statement, Lidl immediately took the necessary measures, in cooperation with the authority. The destruction or removal of the products is monitored by the NKFH.
