Domestic distillation may be a subject of discussions in Brussels
The European Commission may start infringement proceedings against Hungary, because the new regulations of pálinka distillation.
The European Union has strict regulations on the taxation of excise goods. Hungary during the 2002 year accession negotiations, agreed with Brussels, that the rented distillation should also be taxed.
