Brussels examines the Slovakian entry
The European Union's grape and wine management committee started an investigation, to find out whether Slovakia legally registered the Tokaj name into the electronic record-keeping system.
Gárdosi Péter, Director of the Agricultural Division at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said, that Hungary has given the questions and concerns raised by domestic experts to the Commission, over the Slovak registration on Tuesday.
According to the informations of Népszabadság; parallel to the procedure, Hungary is prepared for the case, if the naming dispute between the two countries will be continued at the European Court of Justice – reports Népszabadság.
