Brussels is not willing to reduce the milk quota
Milk quotas will not be reduced and the freezing of the gradual quota increase, decided last year – states the European Commission's report, which leaked to several news agencies before publication.
Because of the milk market crisis developed in the recent months and because of the collapse of prices, the producers demand with a series of protest actions to the amendment of EU legislation, which the German and the French government has also supported. According to the European Commission's report "Amendment of the reform would create uncertainty which could delay the transition process, and it would be detrimental to the dairy farmers.
But the Committee due to the EU budget situation did not see to give the sector a bonus in the possibility in the next two years – reports Világgazdaság Online.
