The EC has authorized the use of American soybeans as biofuels
The European Commission has authorized the use of American soybeans as biofuels on Tuesday, which will certainly increase the volume of imports from the United States.
Authorization was granted until July 1, 2021, but can be extended if the appropriate conditions are met.
For example, American producers can start in European public procurements, as the committee said: the use of soybeans from the United States as energy carriers is in line with EU standards. (MTI, Bajnok Artúr)
