According to British researchers: organic farming is luxury
Organic farming brings much less yield and does not add significantly biodiversity – states a British survey. The researchers stated that the organic food is a luxury, that the world can not afford.
The researchers of the University of Leeds compared conventional and organic farms and the results were, that the organic farming increases biodiversity by 12.4 percent, but yields are 55 percent lower than the yield of the conventional farms – reports szabadfold.hu., after the online edition of Daily Mail.
