9-percent market expansion in value
In the flour category – including semolina and bread mixes – sales improved by 9 percent in value in the December 2012-July 2013 period. In the examined eight months the size of the market exceeded HUF 10 billion. 11-percent more flour was sold in Budapest and Pest County and sales expanded by 10 percent in the North West. The majority of value sales were realised in stores with a floor space above 2,500m², their market share is stable at 35 percent.
