Raw milk exports increased in February

The purchase of raw milk in February 2026 was 8.8 percent lower than the previous month and 2.8 percent lower than the February 2025 volume. The export price of raw milk was 116.26 forints/kilogram in February 2026, 0.8 percent lower than the previous month and 40.8 percent lower than the same month of the previous year. The export price was 24.7 percent lower than the average producer price. According to AKI PÁIR data, raw milk deliveries increased by 26.3 percent in February 2026 compared to January 2026 and by 19.9 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. According to AKI PÁIR data, the processing sales prices of cow’s curd, sour cream, 1.5 percent fat-containing canned UHT milk (both -2 percent), 2.8 percent fat-containing canned fresh milk (-3 percent), Trappist cheese (-4 percent), portioned butter and 2.8 percent fat-containing canned UHT milk (both -9 percent) decreased in February 2026 compared to the previous month. According to KSH data, in the same comparison, the consumer prices of Trappist block cheese, pasteurized ESL milk with a fat content of 2.8% (all -1 percent), sour cream with a fat content of 20% (-2 percent), pasteurized ESL milk with a fat content of 1.5%, sour cream with a fat content of 12% (all -3 percent), boxed UHT milk with a fat content of 2.8% (-4 percent) and portioned butter (-11 percent) decreased.
