The Collection of Hungarian Coins and the Hungarian Valuables have been expanded
The Székely gate is a type of covered gate made with a typical carpentry technique, which was developed from medieval town, castle and manor house gates. From the 17th century, the Székelyföld gate type, with its carved decorations and the sophisticated decoration of the so-called gate mirror above the small gate, became more and more distinct from the fixed grand gates of other regions, becoming a real sight and cultural relic of Székelyföld.
The tradition of making langos is closely related to the tradition of baking bread. The perfect flame is medium thick, not too oily, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Traditionally, lángos is eaten smeared with grated cheese, sour cream, and garlic to taste. Today, we can choose from a wide variety of sweet and salty toppings.
The Hungarian Valuables has been expanded with a type of homestead with a specific structure, the bush homesteads
A settlement structure with bush farms, which is unique in the country, developed in Nyírség from the middle of the 18th century. The people who live here have built residential and farm buildings and other facilities for animal husbandry to cultivate land far away from inhabited places.
Zselici linden honey, a special type of honey that has been produced for centuries in the native linden forests of Somogy county, has been included in the Hungarian Valuables. Thousands of bee families work hard in Zselic, because beekeepers from all over the country migrate here during the flowering of the linden tree.
With the decision of the Hungarikum Committee, the number of items in the Hungarikum Collection increased to 89, and the Hungarian Valuables Store has 152 outstanding national values.
