Expanding Hungarian presence at the world's largest fruit and vegetable trade fair
In addition to the national stand for the first time this year a group compresses more than seventy-Hungarian apricot growers will debut with a stand at the Fruit Logistica in Berlin, which is the largest international professional event of the fruit and vegetable sector.
At the fair began on Wednesday, eight production and sales organization present all product types of the Hungarian sour cherry production from sour cherry jam to sour cherry beer.
In Germany 80 percent of the consumed canned cherries are made of Hungarian sour cherries and 80-90 percent annual crop in Hungary about 60-80 thousand tons are sold abroad. (MTI)
