Expanding British retail
British retail sales rose in February excess of the expectations, thanks to the record level sales of household goods.
On the basis of the datas of the British statistical office; the volume of sales – including fuel – increased by 2.1 percent in February, with a three times higher than expected rate. Such a rise has not been precedented since May 2008.
Sales at annual level increased by 3.5 percent, which is the largest increase since October, which also exceeds the 3.2 percent increase expectations of the analysts – reports ProfitLine.hu.
