Tesco sells Kipa
Tesco has decided to sell Turkey’s market leader retail chain Kipa, in which the British retailer has a 95.5-percent share. Tesco is expected to get GBP 30 million for their shares from the buyer, Migros. Tesco CEO Dave Lewis told: they had also decided to sell the 57-unit restaurant chain Giraffe (acquired three years ago for GBP 49 million) to Boparan, the company that operates Harry Ramsden restaurants.
