STI Group expands international network
The latest partner to join the STI network is the Turkish companies Dasa and Milas Ambalaj of Istanbul. The corporate association is a well-known manufacturer of premium packaging and displays in Turkey.
The Group in Germany has undergone
a realignment in recent months, which resulted in the six
packaging and display plants being reorganised and brought up to
the latest technological standards with extensive investment.
With this complete, the focus has now turned to further growth in
Europe.
With the acquisition of Petõfi, the leading Hungarian
producer of folding boxes, in June of last year and the
commissioning of the new plant at Rumburk / Czech Republic
planned for this June STI has managed to significantly strengthen
market access in eastern Europe, as well as the production
network.
Similarly to STI, Dasa and Milas
Ambalaj focus on tailored solutions – from development to logistics.
The proprietors, Serdar and Lazar Alfasa, are convinced that the
venture will not only be positive for the company itself, but will
also be of primary benefit to its globally-active customers.
In Poland, too, the STI Group is set to
strengthen its commitment. The expansion of production to include
permanent displays for the STI & Ritzi GmbH and the assumption of
Co-packing services necessitate the establishment of an operational
unit in Gdansk. STI Polska Sp. z o.o. is to be expanded in the medium
term in order to serve both regional and European markets.
