Lidl expands operations in Portugal and Croatia
Lidl Portugal has opened its 16th store in a revamped sports complex, the result of a partnership between the German retailer and historic Lisbon-based football club Os Belenenses.

The 1,400m² store is located in the centre of the capital, with parking for 150 vehicles, two fast-charging stations and a locker service. In Croatia the company has spent EUR 120m to develop a 16.7ha modern logistics and distribution centre on the A3 motorway, 40 km from Zagreb.
