Continental is expanding its domestic research and development activities
Continental and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade announced at a joint press conference that the technology company plans to create a total of 280 new research and development (R&D) jobs by the end of 2024 in Budapest and Veszprém.
Continental participates in three projects in the government program supporting R&D activities in Hungary. According to the plans, the large company has already filled 60 new positions in the capital and 30 in Veszprém. Continental Autonomous Mobility Hungary, present in Budapest, Debrecen and Szeged, creates the majority of R&D jobs in the field of modern driving support and automated driving systems.

Dr. Lóránd Balázs, head of Continental Autonomous Mobility Hungary, drew attention.
