Walmart to extend night operations
About 500,000 containers are waiting to be offloaded from cargo ships at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Walmart, FedEx and UPS will step up their efforts to help with supply chain problems and shortages resulting from the pandemic. Both ports will strengthen their round-the-clock operations. Walmart will increase its use of night-time hours by 50 percent.
