One of the most modern sanitary paper plants in the world was expanded
Vajda-Papír’s paper factory in Dunaföldvár has been expanded with the second factory unit. The new factory unit, which was completed during the 15-month investment worth HUF 16 billion, was handed over by Minister of Finance Mihály Varga and Attila Vajda, the managing director of Vajda-Papír Kft. One of the most modern hygienic paper mills in the world has been expanded with a new factory unit including the new base paper production hall, base paper warehouse and pulp storage and preparation areas. At the handover, the Minister of Finance Mihály Varga praised, among other things, that Hungary has become self-sufficient in a new area, the basic paper needed for the production of hygiene paper products has already been provided. He emphasized: well-chosen investments contribute to increasing the resilience of the entire country. Vajda-Papír’s investment will create 50 new jobs while preserving the existing 600 jobs.
