The Sárvár-based HUKE Kft. has expanded its PET bottle recycling plant
The Sárvár-based HUKE Kft. has expanded its PET bottle recycling and processing plant with a 200 million HUF investment. The new factory buildings and equipments were handed over on Thursday, by Illés Zoltán, Minister of State of the Ministry for Rural Development, responsible for environmental protection.
Illés Zoltán told that more than two-thirds of the annually generated 6 million tons of household waste can be recycled, and from those materials that can not be processed again, an annual 600 thousand tons of fuel produced from garbage, so called RDF could be produced. These materials can be burnt in cement factories, coal-fired power plants in an environmentally responsible way. (MTI)
