The Lidl would expand its Hungarian supplier network
About 220 domestic enterprises participated at the Suppliers Academy, organized by Lidl Magyarország that aims to further expand the Hungarian supplier network of the company.
The Lidl Magyarország Bt. in its statement on Wednesday recalled: the Lidl for the Hungarian suppliers program was launched in March 2013.
The success of the program shows that over the past two and a half years, the supply chain was expanded with 154 new Hungarian members, so the products of more than 400 Hungarian partners have appeared in the Lidl stores in Hungary, the supply was enriched with 1700 kinds of Hungarian products, while the turnover of domestic products is 45 percent higher than before the start of the program – the company said.
