Hungexpo expands and customises
Willingness to exhibit instantly reduced in the crisis-ridden sectors, therefore Hungexpo has to come up with exhibition concepts customised to the needs of exhibitors, to offset the drawbacks of economic recession. They are organising new fairs and exhibitions and refreshing the themes of traditional ones. Gabriella Szántó, the communications director of Hungexpo Zrt. told that they would group connected themes and trade fairs, creating a continuous flow of visitors and information between exhibitions held at the same time. A good example for this was this year’s HOVENTA that attracted 12,000 visitors together with Business Travel Show and another guest event, where the number of professional visitors augmented by 70 percent. Hungexpo also started expanding its profile: they started using the fair centre as a conference and entertainment centre.
