Lidl plans to enter the Bosnian market
Some sources say Lidl plans to acquire Bingo, a 160-shop grocery retail chain in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2016. Lidl has already entered the Croatian market and the discount store chain has taken steps to open units in Serbia in 2016-2017. At the moment Bingo insists that they aren’t in talks with the German discounter.
