The economic barometer of the DIW indicates a gloomy start for the summer in Germany
The June economic report of the economic research institute DIW Berlin does not promise bright prospects for the German economy for the second quarter.

Economic activity in Germany remains under pressure
The value of the economy barometer of the German economic research institute DIW Berlin for the second quarter calculated in June increased by about ten points, compared to the value calculated in May, but the 93.8 points thus reached is still below the 100-point value indicating the average GDP growth rate in Germany.
