Pessimistic forecast of the Ministry of Finance
According to the forecast of The Ministry of Finance, the private consumption decreses with 6-7 percent, exports decreases with 15 percent this year due to the deepening global economic crisis.
Limiting of the loans will continue this year, which is negatively affect on the corporate sector. Investment can be decreased by up to 10 percent in 2009. The increase in unemployment does not stop at the rest of this year, the unemployment rate can exceed 10 percent. Consumption expenditures will decrease with 8 percent and the rate of economic decline can be 6-7 percent. In 2009 an annual average of 4.5% inflation rate is expected – reports Portfolio.hu.
