The Hungarian wine sector could close an interesting year this year. The cold and rainy spring slowed down the development of the grapes, while the hot and dry summers provided an opportunity for ripening, although due to the drought period, less than usual grape harvest is expected this year.

According to the unanimous opinion of the experts of the wineries interviewed by Agrárszektor, although they are likely to produce less wine in terms of quantity this year, no one can complain about the quality.
