Hungary is self-sustainable from wine

This year is expected to be better for the wine sector than last year, but more forecasts cannot be given, because there is still a lot of time left until harvest – said Horváth Csaba, the Secretary-General  of the National Council of Wine Communities (HNT) at a press conference in Budapest on Wednesday.

However, he mentioned: that the frosts of last December and May 2011 damaged the vineyards on a thousands acres. This already worsened this years harvest outlooks.
