Wine chiller with wine spout: new profit centre for restaurants
Sometimes, we cannot have the wine we would like to have with our favourite dish. We often find that we have to order a whole bottle in restaurants even if we only want to have a glass of wine. This is when we are forced to order a cheaper wine or to adapt our preference to that of our companions. This is a loss for us and for the restaurant owner as well. However, restaurant owners cannot take the risk of opening an expensive bottle without being sure of selling it. In 2006, a new solution to this problem was patented by Caveduke in the shape of a wine chiller which can prevent the oxidisation of wine in open bottles at an affordable price, which in turn translates to extra profit for restaurant owners.
