BMI: normal year-end weakening
The seasonally adjusted value of the Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) in December 2015 has become 49.1 points.
The respondents, compared to November have reported less favorable developments caused by the shorter month due to the holidays and many respondents stopped operating at the end of the year. The expansion lasted for twenty-eight months. In December 2015, the monthly index was 6.7 percentage points lower than in November (55.8 points) and the lowest so far this year. Over the past year the value of the PM was around 55 points or 51 points.
