BMI: Moderate rise in November
The seasonally adjusted November value of the Purchasing Manager Index (BMI): 52.2.
- Compared to the previous November values, this year’s value is lower than the long-term average for this month (52.7) and also below the average for this month of the previous three years (54.1).
- The sub-indices examined in the survey mostly decreased, and in two cases the rate of increase exceeded ten percentage points. The sub-indices are mostly in the recovery range.
- The employment index is 1.8 percentage points higher this month, and its value indicates a slight expansion. In the past period, the index hovered around 50.0 points, which rose this month (50.3).
