PMI: moderate growth in February
After a moderate expansion in the spring of 2024, the domestic manufacturing sector has been experiencing a sustained slowdown since June.

The trend has reversed with the results of the November and December surveys: once again expansion was observed in February. The purchasing managers’ index (PMI) went above 50 this month – the seasonally adjusted value was 51 in February. For new orders the index value was up 1.3 percentage points. The production volume index was 1.5 percentage points higher than in the previous month. As for the employment index, once again it went below 50 points, with the index value unchanged from January. Purchasing prices surged, with the index up 2.8 percentage points from the previous month; the volume of purchases index soared by 4.8 points. //
