BMI: Contraction in September after a long expansion
The seasonally adjusted September value of the Purchasing Manager Index (BMI): 49.6.

The index of the purchase volume decreased compared to August, but shows expansion for the eighteenth time after two months of contraction
Compared with the previous September values, this year’s value is lower than the long-term average for this month (52.6) and also below the average of the values for this month of the previous three years (51.3). Among the sub-indices examined in the survey, we can observe decreasing sub-indices except for the delivery lead time index and the price index. The extent of the changes exceeded 16 percentage points in several cases. The value of the employment index is 3.4 percentage points lower this month, but it shows expansion for the twelfth time. In the past period, the index also hovered around 50.0 points, which now expanded at a slower pace in September (52.0).
