In connection with yesterday’s Blue Monday, Kifli.hu has collected simple, everyday tips that could help make everyday life easier during the winter depression and low energy levels – the company’s announcement reveals.

The company recalled that the third Monday of January is often referred to as the saddest day of the year, when many people feel more tired and unmotivated due to the short days and the middle of winter. According to Kifli.hu, customers were typically not looking for “luxury solutions” at this time, but for affordable, practical handholds.

The recommendations focused on steps that could be easily incorporated into the routine: adequate fluid intake (such as hot tea or a hot drink in a thermos), more conscious, nutrient-rich eating to reduce blood sugar fluctuations (seeds, legumes, whole grains, fermented foods), and the importance of vitamin and mineral supplementation tailored to the body’s workload. The announcement also highlighted that during busy weekdays, ready-made meals – both private label and domestically sourced meals – could save time and energy, thus reducing the daily decision-making burden.
