Blokkk.com: Household consumption expenditure fell by 3.8%
Family spending in the first quarter of 2021 dragged the economy down, not slightly. Household consumption expenditure decreased by 3.8%. The wallets couldn’t have opened up because the storefronts were filled with signs that were not about promotions, but about restrictions.
If almost everything is closed, then it is difficult to spend. And a year earlier, we were even panting, especially at the end of the first quarter, and the balance sheet index jumped. The first quarter of 2021, however, continued with restrictions due to the epidemic, the shops could only be bought until 7 p.m., the restaurants and hotels were closed, and the delicacies made there could only be taken from the restaurant. And as of March 8, industrial stores and a range of service providers had to close.
