BKIK: commercial real estate rents have to be restructured during the crisis
The Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BKIK) has developed a 7-point package of proposals to address the real estate rental situation of businesses, asking the government to set rents for commercial real estate during the crisis based on tenants ‘monthly sales and landlords’ tax losses” – the chamber told MTI.
As a first step, it is considered necessary to maintain the ban on dismissal until 30 June until the end of the pandemiological restrictions on properties rented by entrepreneurs working in crisis-affected industries. However, it was noted that the ban on the termination of rents on tenants should be lifted as soon as possible. (MTI)
