We don’t have to worry about food shortages
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, there will be no shortage of food in Hungary, and this will continue in the coming months. The government is making every effort to continue to ensure food security for the population, while also taking firm action against overpricing of food – the coronavirus.gov.hu website wrote on Tuesday.
According to the announcement, due to the diligence and efforts of Hungarian farmers and food businesses, the supply of food to Hungarian people is safe even in the changed situation due to the coronavirus epidemic.
Hungarian agriculture and the food industry can supply 25 million people, and more than eighty percent of our raw materials are produced in Hungary. (MTI)
