Companies are confident at the beginning of the year

Ecostat’s business confidence survey shows the moderate improvement of the companies. The value of the TOP-100 enterprise index was 71.8 percent. The value of the small-and medium-sized enterprises was 67.8 percent in January.

Compared to the previous month, the confidence index of the large enterprises increased by more than 3 percent, at the small-and medium-sized enterprises this value was increased by 7 percentage points, after the decline of the previous month.
Twenty-nine percent responded, that their performance can increase until the end of  the next quarter, 44 percent expected stagnation, while 27 percent expected decrease in their performance – reports portfolio.hu.
